  I am incredibly disappointed with my experience. I will not be returning. The food was below average and the service absolutely terrible. I am a professional who works in the area. I regularly purchase my lunch. A couple of doors down there is a great cafe, Ann & Tedd's. I usually purchase a falafel wrap from there and it not only tastes delicious, it's also cheap. For a change I attended Mary's cafe today. I asked whether they sold falafel wraps. They advised me they did. I then enquired as to the price. I was told $6. This is more than I pay at Ann & Ted's but it's still reasonably priced. I said that's fine. The lady then rapidly made the wrap. She then told me the wrap was $7.50 and awaited payment. I had reminded her that when I specifically asked her moments previously about the price I was told $6. She agreed but advised that the price she had given me did not include other ingredients which come standard with the wrap. i did not request anything additional to be included with the wrap. I simple waited for her to make the product which she normally makes and sells at the cafe. I was shocked by this response. I again told her that as a principle, it was not fair for her to charge me an amount different to what she told me woyuld be charged. She again said that it was what it was. I paid but made it clear I would not be returning. The wrap itself was very average. I would not return there for it even if the service had been great. I have since spoken to co-workers who have advised that they too have experienced issues at the cafe when it came to ridiculously small portion sizes and overcharging. You can make up your own mind but I would urge you to think twice before you go there...Unless you liketerrible service and average food.
